Addicting
I have to admit that I was surprised at the way I was sucked in by the story and the development of the characters. The story has several arcs and each intersect in a way that moves the story forward. I'll try not to give away too much. The first concerns a play that hasn't been performed in decades because the playwright committed suicide and left the rights to the play to the lead actress. When she was injured performing, the play was not seen again. The second is about a young 14 year old girl who doesn't seem to be able to do anything, but when she watches movies or plays she is transported to that world. when she performs in a school play, she finds out that acting is what she is good at and wants to do. The last is about a spoiled, but sometimes likeable acting prodigy, who becomes the acting rival of the aforementioned 14 year old and in doing so pushes both their talents to higher levels.
Unfortunately, just as things get interesting, the series stops--or at least Amazon...
Surprisingly Good!
I was looking for something with a literature bent on it. This had me sitting on the edge of my chair and disappointed when the series came to a close.
Storyline and Characters Hold attention
The animation is good but not first class. However, the characters and story and sufficiently well done that I keep watching. I want to know how it turns out.
