Season Three Of This Delightfully Brutal Satire Continues To Impress, Amuse And Disturb
While I hate review hyperbole (greatest show ever!), I really am in love with Cartoon Network's live action satire "Childrens Hospital." Beginning its life as a series of Internet webisodes (classified as Season One), it was developed into a late night TV programming alternative for its Second Season. The first two seasons can be purchased together in one DVD set, so I'd heartily recommend you check them out! There is almost no way to adequately describe the savage and spot-on satire that comprises the delightfully insane "Childrens Hospital." There are pleasant shows that you love and you watch with regularity--but every once in a while, something so diabolically and deliciously wrong-headed pops up. And this is one of those shows that is so wrong in all the right ways. Unlike regular television programs, these are more aptly described as shorts. Each aired in a fifteen minute time slot so, without commercials, the individual episodes last approximately 10-12 minutes...
Hilarious.......if you have a twisted sense of humor
Happened to catch an episode one night whilst battling insomnia. OMG! I did not expect a 15 minute show to capture my attention like this one did. It was a scream!
Laughter is the best medicine, and I must say this show delivers. So much so, I bought everything that was available on DVD and can't wait for the next season. I hope this show runs forever.
